Chinook Visits Maple Bear Preschools in Singapore for a Great Cause!
From 1 June to 15 July 2024, Maple Bear Schools in Singapore raised funds for cancer research in line with our annual Terry Fox charity fundraiser. Our beloved Maple Bear mascot, Chinook, travelled around Singapore to visit all 56 Maple Bear preschools for a great cause.
Inspired by the theme “Be An Olympian”, Chinook set out on a mission to lead our Maple Bear cubs on a dance-a-long to our Charity Theme Song – Magic in the Air! Our young kiddos had an unforgettable time with Chinook dancing, singing, jumping and laughing. It was heartwarming to watch our children’s faces light up as they joined in to help better the community around them.
Our Maple Bear Olympian charity event celebrates our love for the community and aims to spark excitement around giving back to others. We are always finding exciting new ways to inspire our young ones to champion a kinder and brighter future for all – to be little Olympians of change!
To celebrate our incredible children and their families for taking action in our charity initiative, Toddlers and Playgroup children received a storybook journey for participating in fun sports activities at their schools. Each child also took home a medal and a storybook titled “Chinook, Little Terry, and Me.” Our Nursery to Senior Kindergarten children participated in the grand Maple Bear Olympic finale event on July 8th.
Look out for more photos and videos of these amazing events! All donations will be channelled to the Singapore Cancer Society (SCS) for Cancer Research.
Together with Chinook, let’s help brighten and uplift our children’s futures all over the world!
