Mother Tongue Language Symposium 2024 – Maple Bear’s Ongoing Efforts to Support Bilingualism in Singapore

As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting children in their learning and use of their Mother Tongue Language from a young age, Maple Bear Singapore proudly participated in the Mother Tongue Languages Symposium (MTLS) organised by various language agencies including the Ministry of Education on 14th September 2024.

This year’s symposium featured an exhibition that highlighted the integration of Educational Technology into the teaching and learning of Mother Tongue Languages, alongside showcasing culture-based and game-based learning approaches. Maple Bear’s participation underscored our dedication to innovative and engaging language learning methods, essential to fostering a deeper connection to one’s linguistic and cultural heritage from an early age.

We are thrilled to have been a part of this meaningful event, contributing to the conversation on enhancing Mother Tongue Language education through modern tools and play-based learning, which are integral to Maple Bear’s bilingual immersion program.
